10 minutes before your visit, we’ll send you a link to the Zoom room you and your provider will meet in.

Stay supported with on-going care Step 3

Understanding perimenopause and menopause

Perimenopause and menopause can bring a range of symptoms as hormone levels change, including:

  • Hot flashes and night sweats
  • Mood changes, irritability, and anxiety
  • Irregular periods or changes in menstrual flow
  • Sleep disturbances and insomnia
  • Vaginal dryness and discomfort
  • Changes in energy, focus, and memory

Diana Health helps you understand these changes and find personalized care to manage your symptoms.

When you may need an in-person visit

Some aspects of menopause care, including physical exams, lab work, and procedures, may require an in-person appointment at a Diana Health location. Any bleeding after menopause should be evaluated promptly and will likely require an in-person visit.

Real Stories. Real Care.

“This was my [first] virtual dr appointment ever and was wonderful just as good as being in person!!!”

ROBBIE E.

“I would like to just preface this and say I never really leave reviews. I had my first appointment with Alexandria Zayer CNM today & she was amazing!!”

KELI M.

“It was truly wonderful. I’ve had a bad experience with a telehealth conference prior to this one. Dr. Bunch and Diana Health are so excellent.”

PATRICIA J.

Common Questions

Do you treat perimenopause?

Yes! Diana Health offers virtual care for perimenopause, the transition leading up to menopause. Our providers can help you understand hormonal changes, manage symptoms like hot flashes, irregular periods, mood changes, and sleep disruptions, and explore treatment options, including hormone therapy and non-hormonal medications. Your care plan will be tailored to your symptoms, health history, and goals.

Does insurance cover online menopause visits?

Insurance coverage for virtual menopause visits varies by plan and provider network. Diana Health accepts many insurance plans, and our team can help you understand your coverage and any potential out-of-pocket costs before your visit. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your virtual visit benefits.

What menopause symptoms can be treated in a virtual visit?

Virtual menopause visits with Diana Health can help address many common perimenopause and menopause symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disturbances, irregular periods, vaginal dryness, and changes in energy or focus. Your provider can discuss treatment options, including hormone therapy and non-hormonal medications, and create a personalized care plan based on your symptoms and health history. Some concerns, such as postmenopausal bleeding, may require an in-person evaluation.

Is virtual care “as good as” an in-person visit?

Absolutely! Our Care team has identified particular visit types that can be done virtually without compromising the quality of care. During your virtual visit, your provider will review your concerns thoroughly and if anything needs closer attention, we can easily schedule an in-person follow-up. This saves you time while ensuring you receive the care that you need, quickly.
