If you’ve ever left an office visit wishing you could connect with other women going through a similar experience—or that you had more time to really talk with your healthcare provider—a group visit might be just what you’re looking for.
At Diana Health, we now offer virtual group visits for women who want more than a quick check-in. These sessions are for those craving real talk, real support, and meaningful connection. Held once a month during the lunch hour via Zoom, they’re a great way to dive deeper into your health with guidance from experts and encouragement from peers.
Current Virtual Group Offerings:
- Peri/Menopause Group: Created to help you navigate the common concerns and struggles of perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause.
- Weight Management Group: Focused on supporting your goals to find a healthy weight and improve overall wellness.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are group visits?
Group visits bring together several patients at once with one or two healthcare providers to explore a shared health concern or life stage. In addition to guidance from a provider, you’ll also learn from each other—and that connection can be just as powerful.
What do group visits include?
Expect a mix of health education, provider check-ins, group discussion, time for questions, and space to share experiences. It’s supportive, informative, and interactive.
What does a typical group visit look like?
At Diana Health, our virtual groups typically include 5–10 women meeting live online with one of our healthcare providers and a wellness coach. Sessions last about 60–90 minutes.
Do group visits replace my regular appointments?
Nope! Group visits are meant to add to your care, not replace it. Think of them as an extra layer—time to go deeper into certain topics that may only get touched on in a regular visit.
Are these visits covered by insurance?
Yes, most insurance plans cover group visits the same way they do individual ones. Copays may apply, depending on your plan.
Why choose a group visit?
Some women join for the extra education. Others are looking for more time to ask questions, or just want to feel less alone in their health journey. Studies show group visits can boost satisfaction—and sometimes even outcomes. If you’re looking to connect, learn more, and feel heard, this is a great space for you.
Who leads the visits?
Each group visit is led by a Diana Health provider, partnered with a certified wellness coach. Our coaches bring expertise in behavior change and help you take evidence-based steps toward better wellbeing—at your pace, in your way.
What makes Diana Health’s group visits unique?
Ultimately, what makes our visits unique is our patients and providers. We also use a program called PAVING the Path to Wellness, an evidence-based curriculum created by Harvard physician Dr. Beth Frates and adapted by Dr. Michelle Tollefson specifically for the menopause transition. It’s designed to help women in their 40s–60s feel empowered, informed, and in control of their health.
Is everything I say kept private?
Yes. Everyone in the group agrees to maintain confidentiality, and you only share what you’re comfortable with. You’re always in control of your experience.
Do I have to commit to multiple sessions?
Nope! While many women find the experience so helpful they want to keep coming back, there’s no long-term commitment required. Try one out and see what you think!
At Diana Health, your health is our priority. Group visits are just one more way we support your whole wellness journey—with connection, education, and expert care.
