Suzanne Adkins, CNM, is a board-certified Certified Nurse-Midwife with a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University. With experience in both out-of-hospital birth center and home birth settings, as well as high-acuity hospital-based care, Suzanne provides a full spectrum of care for both low and high-risk pregnancies. They have worked with a diverse range of families in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care, and have extensive experience in providing contraception, STI screening and treatment, care for gender-diverse clients, PrEP, and annual exams.
Suzanne is passionate about empowering individuals from all backgrounds to take an active role in their health. Suzanne believes in helping people make informed decisions about their care, whether it’s through birth support, contraception planning, or preventive care like screenings. With a goal to ensure that everyone feels heard, seen, and valued throughout their care journey, joining Diana Health is a natural fit.
At Diana Health, Suzanne appreciates the integrated team approach and the time dedicated to each patient, which allows them to offer personalized and attentive care.
Outside of their professional life, Suzanne enjoys a wide variety of hobbies, including woodworking, DIY projects, knitting, gardening, camping, and painting. Suzanne lives with their husband, Eric, and their three children, along with two rescue kitties who bring joy and entertainment to the family.
Suzanne offers compassionate support for pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders, is committed to providing affirming, neurodiversity-friendly, and trauma-informed care, and has a special interest in adolescent health and pregnancy care.
