Mackenzie Mattingly
LCSW, IMH-E®

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Tennessee Locations

My passion for women’s health grew from my own postpartum journey and a deeper awareness of the immense mental load women carry today. I strive to provide education and support around how our brains and bodies respond to trauma, helping women cultivate self-compassion, healing, and resilience. My approach is authentic and relationship-centered, focused on creating meaningful connections to support each woman’s unique journey.

Mackenzie Mattingly, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep passion for supporting women’s mental health across all stages of life. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from The University of Tennessee, where she also completed a Trauma Treatment Certification. She is an Infant Mental Health Specialist and Endorsed Reflective Supervisor through the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health. In addition, she has advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is currently working toward full certification.

Mackenzie brings eight years of experience as a therapist, most recently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at Family Care Center, where she provided comprehensive counseling services, developed individualized treatment plans, and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.

Her professional interests include trauma-informed care, attachment, and women’s mental health. Mackenzie is especially passionate about helping women understand how their brains and bodies respond to trauma, teaching self-compassion, and supporting healing through authentic and meaningful therapeutic relationships. She also emphasizes the importance of early life experiences and attachment in shaping how we navigate relationships and the world.

Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her toddler—often engaging in dress-up, dance parties, and arts and crafts. She values time in the sunshine, movement, and laughter-filled moments with family and friends.
