Laura McCord, CNM,is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to women at every stage of life. She is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia.

With years of experience across diverse communities—including time in Panama City and Tallahassee, Florida—Laura has offered midwifery care to women of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds. After relocating due to Hurricane Michael, she has continued serving women through locum tenens work, deepening her commitment to accessible, high-quality care wherever it’s needed. She is excited to offer the same, exceptional care to women at Diana Health. 

She is passionate about empowering women through clear information, respectful support, and shared decision-making in both labor & delivery and well-woman care.

Outside of her work, Laura enjoys walking, traveling, and spending time with friends. She brings warmth, wisdom, and experience to every patient encounter and feels privileged to learn from the women she serves as much as she hopes they learn from her.
