Katie Smith, CNM, says giving women a voice about their health is what drives her passion. She believes that with a team of supportive providers, patients can feel their best. She was drawn to Diana Health for the comprehensive approach to women’s health and the emphasis on women feeling seen and heard within our care.
After achieving both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in nursing and midwifery, Katie completed her Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner credentials in 2023. Katie has worked in women’s health for almost 20 years, even owning her own birth center in Panama City where she was the sole Certified Nurse Midwife.
When not practicing midwifery, she is a dedicated mother to six, all of whom she homeschooled, and a grandmother to three. She also owns a gymnastics and cheer facility where she combines her love of teaching sports with encouraging children to have fun while striving for their full potential. She enjoys traveling with her family, especially frequent trips to New York to spend time with loved ones.
