Jessica Tillery, MSN, APRN, CNM, is a Certified Nurse-Midwife with more than 20 years of nursing experience and over nine years as an advanced practice provider in obstetrics and gynecology. She believes women deserve to feel supported, heard, educated, and empowered throughout every stage of their healthcare. Her approach is simple: listen first, educate without lecturing, and make sure patients are active participants in their care—not just passengers along for the ride.

Jessica has attended more than 1,000 births and, quite simply, loves birth—all kinds of birth. Whether a patient wants a low-intervention experience or an epidural and all the interventions, she believes there is no single “right” way to give birth. Her goal is for women to understand their options, feel confident in their decisions, and feel respected throughout the process. She is especially passionate about challenging the idea that midwifery is only for low-risk patients who want a “natural” birth. Midwives are with women—and that means all women.

Beyond pregnancy and birth, Jessica enjoys well-woman care, contraception counseling, and helping patients solve the health concerns that aren’t always straightforward. She is particularly passionate about improving access to quality women’s healthcare in underserved communities and creating a space where women feel comfortable asking questions, voicing concerns, and taking an active role in their health.

Outside of work, Jessica is a mom of four, an avid reader, and a Level One Certified Barre Amped instructor at In Bloom Barre and Wellness. She also enjoys yoga, thrifting and crocheting—because apparently delivering babies wasn’t enough to keep her busy!
