Haley Murray, CNM, is a Certified Nurse Midwife serving patients in Smyrna. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Development from the University of California, Berkeley, with a concentration in public health—an experience that first sparked her passion for reproductive and maternal health. She later became a nurse and completed her Master of Science in Nursing in Nurse-Midwifery at Vanderbilt University.Originally from California, Haley moved to Nashville to complete her nursing and midwifery education at Vanderbilt.

Most recently, Haley practiced at Asheville Birth & Wellness Center, where she provided holistic reproductive healthcare and supported families through out-of-hospital births. Her path to midwifery is deeply rooted in service and community engagement. Prior to becoming a midwife, she served with AmeriCorps at a literacy nonprofit in an elementary school, taught English as a second language abroad, and completed an apprenticeship at a birth center along the U.S.–Mexico border.

When she isn’t working, Haley loves to travel and has spent time living in Brazil and Colombia. She enjoys attending concerts, spending time in nature, and indulging in all things wellness. At home, she spends time with her cat, Diamond, who is equal parts feisty and cuddly.
