Elizabeth McLanahan
LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Florida Locations
Fort Walton Beach
I am excited to join Diana Health because I truly believe in the value of an inclusive health and wellbeing model. Women often fall through the cracks, especially when it comes to mental health, and I’ve seen how much more likely they are to engage in their well-being when all their needs are met, and they can participate from the comfort of their own space.
Elizabeth McLanahan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a deep commitment to supporting women in their mental health journeys. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Human Services from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Social Work from Florida State University.
With a diverse background in providing compassionate care, Elizabeth has worked as a Military Family Life Counselor for Magellan Health, where she delivered non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to students and school staff. Her work focused on building trust and fostering a safe, confidential environment for those in need of support. Elizabeth also delivered health and wellness presentations and was actively involved in school activities, establishing strong connections with community resources to ensure individuals had access to the services they needed.
Elizabeth is excited to join Diana Health, where she can contribute to the organization’s inclusive health and well-being model. She recognizes the unique challenges women face, particularly when it comes to mental health, and is passionate about providing holistic care that meets their needs from the comfort of their own space. She believes that when women have access to the full spectrum of care, they are better equipped to prioritize their mental health and thrive.
Outside of her professional life, Elizabeth is a proud single mother to a teenage boy, and she cherishes time spent with her close-knit family. She enjoys reading, baking, and creating memories with her loved ones during her downtime.
