Amber Castleberry, MSN, APRN, CNM, C-EFM is excited to provide whole-person women’s healthcare in the Allen community. She was drawn to Diana Health’s model of compassionate, comprehensive care and is excited to join the team. Amber holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

For the past two years, she has specialized in home birth as a Certified Nurse Midwife and before this role, Amber was the sole CNM at a busy hospital-based practice in Frisco for three years. With a combined 16 years of experience in women’s healthcare throughout the metroplex, she has developed a robust foundation in both low- and high-risk perinatal care, which has fueled her passion for this field. Amber is a fierce advocate for medical autonomy and shared decision-making, and she truly appreciates the balance and fine art of midwifery care in hospital settings. 

She has also served as a gestational carrier, delivering a son and daughter for the same family in 2021 and 2022. As an IVF and VBA2C mother herself, Amber is particularly passionate about supporting families facing fertility challenges, including those dealing with PCOS and those seeking a Trial of Labor After Cesarean (TOLAC). Amber is committed to being a trauma-informed provider and a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community. She especially enjoys working with families who are looking for a harmonious blend of holistic, “crunchy” lifestyle approaches and Western medicine.

Amber is a North Texas native and military spouse and is a dedicated mother to teenage twin boys, a preteen daughter, and three cats.
