Amber Anderson
MSN, APRN, CNM
Certified Nurse Midwife
Smyrna
I am passionate about women’s health for many different reasons. To name a few: EMPOWER – this word stands out the most to me. As a midwife, I strive to empower women to advocate for themselves and their healthcare needs. I strive to address the health disparities our patients face and to help bridge the gap, while also meeting them where they are. I also want to be a voice in the social issues surrounding women’s health – issues like equality, access to care and reproductive rights.
Specialities: OBGYN care; fertility issue; contraception management; physiologic birth and labor support
From a very young age, Amber knew that she wanted to serve women and work in women’s health. She believes in providing women safe, holistic care that makes your visit one to look forward to, instead of one to dread.
Amber was drawn to Diana Health for the model of care and mission to reimagine women’s healthcare from the ground up. She received her Master’s in Nursing and previously worked for seven years at Connectus Health as both an RN, and then later a midwife. Amber is a rare native Nashvillian, who lives in the city with her high school sweetheart husband and four wonderful children. In her free time, you can find Amber curling up on the couch with a good book to read.
