Dr. Barry Grimm graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2005 and received his medical degree from the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010. He then completed his OB/GYN residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2010-2014. For the past nine years, Dr. Grimm has worked for Vanderbilt, first in a collaborative midwife/physician practice model at Northcrest Medical Center, before moving to Vanderbilt’s main campus to take on additional medical education roles, such as teaching and training OB/GYN student residents. During this time, he also served as Clerkship Director for the OB/GYN Vanderbilt medical students. While at Vanderbilt, Dr. Grimm became deeply involved with their Firefly program, which provides multidisciplinary care for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders. Dr. Grimm is excited to join Diana Health, because he feels deeply aligned with their mission of promoting wellness for both patients and providers, with the ultimate goal of making a lasting impact on the families and communities they serve. At the end of the day, we all have the same goal in mind: to know our worth and unite around a shared hope. This is not only the spirit of Diana Health, but a spirit and cause close to Dr. Grimm’s heart.
When he’s not seeing clients, Dr. Grimm enjoys spending time with his wife Mary and their four children. They enjoy spending time with their friends, watching and playing sports, and spending time outdoors.
