Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Smyrna

Helping women understand the importance of their health—at every stage of life—is vital. Knowledge is key: when women know better, they can make better decisions for themselves and their families. At Diana Health, I value the opportunity to educate, provide care, and support women in becoming the best version of themselves.

Specialties: Well-woman exams; contraceptive management; fertility; menopause

Pamela Carter Davis, WHNP, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with decades of experience caring for women across all stages of life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1987 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001, the same year she achieved her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the National Certification Corporation.

Pamela has served women in a wide variety of settings. Most recently, she worked at Anchorage Women’s Clinic in Alaska, providing care for women across the lifespan. Prior to that, she spent six years at an Air Force base in North Carolina, where she cared for active-duty servicewomen and their families. Pamela also worked at Meharry Medical College, specializing in urogynecology, fertility, menopause, and general women’s health.

Pamela is passionate about empowering women through education. She believes that knowledge is the foundation for better health decisions, especially as women age. At Diana Health, she values the opportunity to provide care, share knowledge, and guide women toward being their best selves.

When she’s not caring for patients, Pamela enjoys life on the road—she has been a full-time RVer since 2020, living and traveling in a motor coach with her husband, Athams. They’ve had adventures across the country, including their time in Alaska. Pamela also treasures spending time with her grown children, her sister (a retired gynecologist), and two “adopted” granddaughters, with whom she has a special bond. She loves traveling, exploring new places, and making memories with family.
