Heather Kill
CNM

Certified Nurse Midwife
Chattanooga

I became a midwife because I know what it feels like not to be heard in healthcare. Too often women’s symptoms are dismissed or blamed without real investigation, and I’ve seen how deeply that can affect lives. I am passionate about providing individualized, holistic, and evidence-based care where my patients feel truly heard, valued, and empowered as partners in their care.

Specialties: PCOS; infertility management; labor support

Heather Kill, CNM, earned her Associate of Science in Nursing before completing her Master of Science in Nursing, becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife. She has provided care in a variety of settings, including full-scope midwifery at Midwifery Care Associates, office-based OB/GYN care with Indiana University Health, and most recently as a Labor & Delivery/High Risk OB nurse at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital.

Heather became a midwife after her own experiences of not being fully heard within the healthcare system. These moments shaped her passion for providing individualized, holistic, and evidence-based care, and this passion ultimately let her to Diana Health’s model of compassionate care. She is committed to ensuring that every patient feels listened to, valued, and empowered as a true partner in their care.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys a busy family life with her three children—two daughters adopted through foster care and a son welcomed after an 18-year journey with infertility. Her family also includes a beloved collection of animals, and together they are enjoying exploring their new home in Chattanooga. Heather loves hiking, crocheting, and reading, and is also a classically trained vocalist with a special love for Broadway musicals.
