Our Current Groups

Peri/Menopause Group Visits

(Virtual – FL & TN)

Our Menopause group is designed to help you navigate through the common concerns and struggles faced during perimenopause, menopause, and after. It’s best suited for individuals open to adapting their lifestyle and nutrition habits, feel comfortable receiving care in a group setting, can benefit from group accountability and support, and are focused on aging in a healthy way. The curriculum we use was developed by a Havard doctor and is based on the Paving The Path to Wellness program.

Groups meet the second Tuesday of every month from 12:30pm – 1:30pm ET / 11:30am – 12:30pm CT

Weight Management Group Visits

(Virtual – TN)

Our Weight Management group is designed to help you find your healthy weight and meet your goals. It’s best suited for individuals who are prepared to adapt their lifestyle and nutrition habits, feel comfortable receiving care in a group setting, can benefit from group accountability and support, and are focused on healthy, sustainable weight loss over time. The curriculum we use was developed by a Havard doctor and is based on the Paving The Path to Wellness program.

Groups meet the second Thursday of every month from 12:00pm – 1:00pm CT.

What is the purpose of Group Visits?

Our virtual group visits are appointments that take place with one of our providers, a health coach, and other patients who have similar health conditions and concerns. They are focused on learning how to implement healthy lifestyle behaviors to support your current conditions and overall wellbeing, and provide a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about your condition and the lifestyle behaviors that can support it, and receive support from others in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

How do group visits work?

Visits are virtual and will be conducted via Zoom. They will be held once per month and each visit will consist of 60-minutes of education and discussion, with an optional 30-minutes of hands-on goal setting and implementation with our health coach. Each month we will focus on a different lifestyle topic and will include education, tools and resources, along with plenty of time for open discussion and Q&A.

The group will remain open so you can choose to start and attend at any time, however, we like to keep these groups small and intimate so spots may fill up quickly.

What are the benefits of a group visit?

Think of group visits like a meeting of the minds. You, your providers and 10-12 other patients who are traveling a similar healthcare journey get to connect in a safe & confidential environment to learn from each other, have open discussions and ask as many questions as you want. Being part of a group can:

  • Help you feel less alone
  • Teach you more about your specific condition and what has worked for others
  • Give you more time to ask questions, talk about concerns and get valuable insights
  • Be in an uplifting space to share goals, celebrate victories, and feel supported

Will insurance cover these group visits?

Visits will be billed to your insurance just as a regular visit would be, so you will want to check with your insurance provider to determine the amount of your co-pay and if virtual visits are covered.

Group visits are not designed to treat urgent medical concerns and are not meant to replace regular appointments with your providers. They simply add another layer of care to your treatment plan.

Collaborative Care Teams consisting of OB/GYNs, Certified Nurse Midwives, Mental Health Therapists, Dietitians, and Wellness Coaches, all work together to treat the whole you.

Individualized (Personal + Flexible)

You’re always in the driver’s seat of your care experience. You set the agenda for your visits, specify your unique care preferences, and complete your comprehensive wellness plan, which we’ll use to guide your treatment.

Putting You in the Driver’s Seat (Educate + Empower)

  • You specify your preferences and share in the decision-making with your providers when developing treatment plans.
  • We offer a wide range of educational articles and tools to empower you with knowledge and ensure you feel comfortable and confident.
  • The Diana Health Client App allows you to view your lab results and medical history, and message your providers.
