I’m passionate about women’s health because it’s deeply personal to me. My own experiences have shaped my understanding of the challenges women face and have changed the way I view the importance of accessible, compassionate, and individualized care. Through my journey, I’ve come to realize that true healthcare must take into account the whole person—body, mind, and unique life circumstances. Women’s health is more than a series of medical appointments; it’s about empowering women to make informed choices and feel seen, heard, and supported in their own health journey.

Connie Burke, MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to women at every stage of life. She believes that women’s healthcare should address the whole person, with care and respect as the foundation of every patient interaction. Connie was drawn to Diana Health because of its compassionate, individualized care model, which offers women seamless access to the resources they need to take ownership of their health and well-being.
Connie earned her undergraduate degrees in Biological Sciences and Nursing from Florida State University (FSU) before completing her Master’s in Nursing at the University of South Alabama. Her diverse background includes six years of experience as a progressive care and postpartum/mother-baby nurse at HCA Florida Capital Hospital, where she developed a deep understanding of women’s health in both the inpatient and postpartum settings. In addition, Connie worked as a bedside nurse at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) and took on the role of research assistant as she collaborated with Dr. Jessica Bahorski’s research team, contributing to important advancements in nursing practice. She also served as an undergraduate clinical instructor at FSU’s College of Nursing, helping shape the next generation of nurses.
